About Us
The Ghiani family has been running a B&B for several years to promote the territory of Isili and the Sarcidano region. Lorenzo, after completing his studies, manages the B&B, while his father Sandro dedicated his career to the cultural services of the Municipality. Gilda, the mother, takes care of the house and the garden, and Luciano, Sandro’s brother, contributed with his skill in woodworking.
The Ghiani family decided to open their home to hospitality several years ago. We started because we are convinced that Isili and the Sarcidano region have much to offer to tourists, and we believe it is up to the locals to enhance the territory through their dedication. We had the opportunity to create a B&B, so we decided to renovate the spaces ourselves to make them as welcoming as possible.
Lorenzo, born in 1986, manages the B&B and chose this path after completing his university studies in Cagliari.
He grew up in Sarcidano and does not want to leave this territory, even though he loves traveling and has participated in many EU intercultural programs in other European countries.
Sandro, his father, was the head of Cultural Services for the Municipality of Isili and is now retired. He is a man who dedicated his entire career to the library and the Maratè Museum.
Gilda, on the other hand, is a retired social worker who decided to focus on taking care of the garden and the house, as well as collaborating in managing the B&B.
The house also includes an apartment for Luciano, Sandro’s brother, a retired mechanic with a passion for traditional woodworking. He crafted the windows and doors of the house, as well as several other pieces of furniture.
